Meet Mrs. Sullivan
Hi, my name is Nicole Sullivan. Teaching is a second career for me. I went back to get my teaching license later in life and haven't ever regretted the decision. I truly love teaching 5th grade. Kids at this age are enthusiastic about learning and are willing to try anything. I believe Lineville is a great stepping stone school in our district. Students entering have a little more freedom and independence than elementary and they do a great job transitioning. It is a fun process to watch and be a part of. I currently teach math and science. My true passion is math. It is amazing watching kids solve problems in various ways.
I have lived in the Howard-Suamico area for the past 16 years. I moved back to the area when my oldest was ready to start school. I knew what a great district this was and wanted my kids to be a part of it. Between my husband and I we have 4 children. One lives in Texas, one lives in Chicago and two are in college in Minnesota.
I look forward to working with your family this year. The Unity House believes having good communication between home and school is key for students to succeed. We pride ourselves on weekly communication and enjoy having parents involved in our house. I am certain this will be a great year!

Meet Mrs. Ives
Hello! My name is Mrs. Ives. I have been teaching for over 30 years and I still love it! The students are awesome and I love to learn with them. My passion is Language Arts. As I am teaching, I hope to instill a love for reading and writing in my students. I also truly enjoy teaching Social Studies. In fifth grade we teach American history, and there are many great historical fiction books that tie into our units.
I feel fortunate to teach in the Howard-Suamico School District. We have amazing students who come from amazing families! We are lucky to have the technology and resources that we do to help meet the individual needs of our students and to enhance learning. I work with an incredibly dedicated staff who go above and beyond to help students reach their full potential.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two sons and one daughter-in-law. Together we love to travel and spend time up north. In addition to reading I also love to cook.
